This chapter provides a multi-timescale energy management framework that consider- ing battery operation, power purchases, and appliance usage. This chapter addresses the challenge of maintaining energy balance and reducing electricity costs in smart PV systems due to the unpredictability and fast variation of PV generation. The multi-timescale structure with both long-term and short-term perspectives, the framework manages a mix of fast and slow system dynamics effectively while ensuring high accuracy in forecasting and battery management.
