Antennas Combination for Ground and Airborne Segments of UAV Communication Systems
摘要
The unmanned aerial vehicle complex is a rather complex structure, which includes not only the aircraft itself, but also various devices for exchanging information signals, united into a single system. Antennas occupy one of the most important places in this system. The performance indicators of the entire complex directly depend on the quality characteristics of antenna devices. Antennas used for onboard and ground segments of communication systems have a number of requirements for design and parameters. These requirements directly depend on the specifics of the use and mission of the aircraft. There is a fairly large list of antennas of various designs that can be used for communication systems with drones. But often during the development process the problem arises that it is impossible to use a complex antenna system due to certain operational limitations. Therefore, it is advisable to use relatively simple antenna designs. Such antennas are relatively easy to calculate and manufacture for any frequency range as needed. This paper discusses the basic principles of construction, modeling and manufacturing features of simple antenna structures that can be used in the ground and airborne segments of communication systems with unmanned aerial vehicles. Particular attention was paid to such types of antennas as dipole, discone antenna, collinear antenna, log-periodic antenna.
