The objective of this chapter consisted of mapping the disappearances of women in the municipality of San Luis Potosí during the period 2017–2024. This analysis sought to identify the areas with the highest incidence of disappearances, which allowed us to build a geographical overview of the spaces where these cases are concentrated. Through the Environmental Criminology approach that integrated geo-referencing and statistical analysis tools, it was possible to examine spatio-temporal patterns associated with the phenomenon. The chapter tries to understand if there is a classification between the places and periods in which these disappearances are registered, which can offer key clues for the design of prevention and search strategies, given that the disappearances of women reflect dynamics of structural violence that require multidimensional and coordinated responses between the authorities and society. This study not only makes the magnitude of the problem in specific areas of the municipality visible but also identifies the significant problem concerning the elaboration of bulletins issued by authorities: while one institution indicates the place where the missing person was last seen, another mentions the place where the disappearance occurred and vice versa; this generates inconsistencies and hinders the elaboration and analysis of the context of victimization.

摘要
