Human and nature relations in Zimbabwe is a topical issue that demands the moral and religious efficacy of hunhu/ubuntu and the New Testament since both intrinsically uphold love and goodness. The argument is that love and goodness must be included and applied in the debate on human and nature relations and that the relation should cease to be characterized by exploitation and plunder. Love and goodness were the frameworks used to demonstrate that humans and nature were one inseparable reality/substance. The choice was firmly based on the position and framework hunhu/ubuntu and the New Testament brought to the understanding of humans and nature discussion. The two world views were deemed necessary to infuse the academic field with their rational interpretations of human and nature relations. The two were reasonably applied, and the application took into account the values of the New Testament and hunhu/ubuntu and thus applied community, love, goodness, dignity, equality, and respect at the core of the life of humans and nature relation in Zimbabwe. However, the two theories would help Zimbabweans to reason more clearly about principles of action and unravel the logical knots in their reasoning about the ethical problem of humans and nature.
