Fertilization is the factor that most significantly contributes to increased productivity, yet it is also the practice that imposes the greatest burden on production costs. Consequently, questions arise regarding the economically optimal fertilizer dosage to apply. This chapter aims to discuss the economic efficiency of pasture fertilization practices, drawing on both research findings and commercial farm experiences.
