This chapter presents a summary of research findings on the physiological and biochemical responses, productivity, and nutritional quality of leaf biomass in pastures under a future climate change scenario. This scenario foresees an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide [CO2] concentration to approximately 600 ppm and a temperature rise of around 2 °C above current ambient levels. Additionally, the experiments examined the effects of water deficiency on plants exposed to elevated temperatures.

摘要

This chapter presents a summary of research findings on the physiological and biochemical responses, productivity, and nutritional quality of leaf biomass in pastures under a future climate change scenario. This scenario foresees an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide [CO2] concentration to approximately 600 ppm and a temperature rise of around 2 °C above current ambient levels. Additionally, the experiments examined the effects of water deficiency on plants exposed to elevated temperatures.
