This chapter presents the results compiled from 12 calibration experiments on phosphorus fertilization conducted in tropical Amazonian soils in forage establishments with varying levels of nutritional needs. Based on these results, we have developed a table for interpreting soil phosphorus levels and a proposal for phosphorus fertilization recommendations for pasture establishment. This approach aims to enhance the accuracy of fertilization recommendations and, consequently, improve fertilization efficiency.
