The previous chapter gave us the tools to describe how things move over time, this chapter tries to answer why they move. In this chapter we use the modelling tools that we have developed, and combine them with physical laws to predict how objects move in reaction to external stimuli (forces and torques). We will use two specific laws of nature: Newton’s second law, and Euler’s law.

摘要

The previous chapter gave us the tools to describe how things move over time, this chapter tries to answer why they move. In this chapter we use the modelling tools that we have developed, and combine them with physical laws to predict how objects move in reaction to external stimuli (forces and torques). We will use two specific laws of nature: Newton’s second law, and Euler’s law.
