This chapter provides a comprehensive summary of the entire research work. The developed methods for both experimental and digital analysis of body deformations and clothing-body interactions are reviewed. In particular, the combination of 4D scan data, BodyTex4D, and the developed digital human models has proven to be highly beneficial for clothing development. 4D scan data enable the experimental acquisition and evaluation of new insights into body deformations and textile interactions, while digital models allow for pre-production garment testing, significantly expanding the range of clothing parameter testing before manufacturing.
