In this final chapter our goal is to illustrate the tools developed in previous sections in the most basic context, namely real-valued functions defined on intervals. We will review some of the fundamentals of calculus, but the main point here is to demonstrate some concrete applications of the abstract concepts of metric topology.

摘要
