Childhood granulomatous periorificial dermatitis (CGPD) is a benign often self-limiting papular dermatitis primarily affecting the facial periorificial areas such as the eyes, nose, and mouth. It is poorly reported with a higher prevalence in the first two decades of life. The exact etiopathogenesis of CGPD is not well known, and several factors may contribute to its onset. Dermatoscopy shows the presence of multiple roundish, homogeneous, orangish areas, histopathologically corresponding to the presence of perifollicular noncaseating granulomas, associated with a reddish background and scaling.
