There is a clear need for well-trained behavior-analytic professionals to provide the quality intervention and care that autistics/individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) deserve. While no one book can solve the problems our field is facing with respect to training autism interventionists to be thoroughgoing behavior analysts, it is my genuine hope that this book is at least somewhat useful. This chapter provides an introduction to the clinical handbook of autism intervention training. It highlights the author(s) of each chapter while also providing a very brief overview of each of the chapters.
