The chapter attempts to (1) articulate consciousness from the epistemological devices of Sri Aurobindo (The synthesis of yoga. Lotus Press, 1992) and Wilber (Eye to eye: The quest for the new paradigm. Shambhala Publications, 2001a); (2) conceptualize levels of collective consciousness—material, social, and spiritual from the epistemological devices; and (3) elucidate motivation, framework, aims, ethics, and standards—underlying each level of collective consciousness in the organizations. The chapter connects consciousness levels to global states, which are more permanent and long-lasting than local states. It aligns with the organization’s shared values, stable elements, and reliable behaviors.
