Trends Analysis in Knowledge Management Practice: Theoretical and Index Keywords Insights (2000–2024)

Knowledge Management (KM) practices have experienced significant evolution over recent decades, driven by changing organizational needs and research developments. This paper offers a comprehensive analysis of the current trends in KM practices, focusing on theoretical frameworks and practical applications within organizations. Effective KM practice is essential because it enhances organizational learning, modernization, and strategic decision-making. Utilizing a keyword trend analysis from the Scopus database, the study identifies enduring research areas, evolving topics, and emerging themes in KM practice from 2000 to 2024 and enriching with quantitative insights of Average Growth Rate (AGR), Average Documents per Year (ADY), and H-Index. The analysis reveals a diverse array of keywords related to KM, yet KM practices will remain central and significant in 2024, highlighting their enduring relevance in contemporary organizational contexts. The findings provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of implementing effective KM strategies, aiming to support organizations leveraging knowledge as a strategic asset. By offering a detailed overview of these developments, this study contributes to the ongoing discourse on KM practice in contemporary organizations, highlighting critical areas of interest and future research directions.
