Poor project management is a plaque that has adverse effects on productivity. In this paper, we address this problem specifically in monitoring final year project implementation by students at Universiti Utara Malaysia. A web application is designed and developed with the aim of improving final year project management by leveraging technology to enhance communication between students and teachers. The system is designed using a Waterfall-Scrum hybrid methodology, where we integrate the benefits of both approaches to ensure a comprehensive and optimum system performance. The web application integrates the Theory of Shame and is designed to address the challenges posed by poor final year project management in public schools in the United States, particularly in the post-pandemic era. This web application provides a framework for managing final year projects and highlights the importance of providing countermeasures and system design experience to create a complete, loosely coupled, and manageable system while placing expectations for project completion.
