Leveraging the extensive Scopus database, a number of 541 relevant documents spanning 2017 to 2024 were meticulously curated. The investigation unveils critical insights through a multifaceted analysis encompassing publication trends, preeminent authors, influential journals, collaborative networks, citation impact, and emerging research trajectories. The findings illuminate a marked surge in scholarly output, underscoring the escalating academic enthusiasm and industrial adoption of blockchain-powered trust solutions across diverse sectors. Premier publication venues propagating cutting-edge advancements are highlighted, fostering interdisciplinary discourse. This study elucidates the intrinsic research dynamics propelling knowledge dissemination by mapping intricate collaboration patterns and assessing citation resonance. Harnessing powerful analytical tools, including VOSviewer, Microsoft Excel, OpenRefine, Biblioshiny, and Harzing’s Publish or Perish, this investigation charts an exhaustive cartography of the existing state-of-the-art while identifying potential research avenues primed for exploration.
