Data Collection Methods
摘要
The phase of research known as data collection is an essential one since it serves as the foundation for the whole investigation. Due to the absence of trustworthy and legitimate data, the results are susceptible to bias, mistakes, and conclusions that cannot be relied upon. Data collecting techniques might vary depending on the aims of the study, the population of interest, and the resources that are accessible to the researcher. This is true for both qualitative and quantitative research. Within the scope of this chapter, a comprehensive analysis of the several approaches to data gathering, including their respective benefits and drawbacks, as well as their applicability to various kinds of study, is presented.
