The first phase of blockchain technology has become a new aspect of Islamic studies. This will innovate any potential solutions to address the various difficulties within the technology. Hence, with its decentralized and unchallengeable nature, blockchain technology offers a promising path for Islamic studies to explore, especially in reducing data management and record-keeping challenges. The capability of securing, storing, and verifying any religious and academic records on blockchain technology platforms can improve the reliability and consistency of information, addressing the concerns of data integrity and accessibility that have long plagued technology usage. Besides, the transparency inherent in blockchain technology systems can foster greater accountability and trust within the Islamic studies community. It can enable seamless collaboration and information-sharing across various stakeholders, including scholars, institutions, and the general public. Hence, this review paper will discuss the potential consequences of blockchain technology usage in Islamic studies in various fields. On top of that, the study will identify how blockchain technology will improve data management and help any record storage processes. This study will also try to foresee how blockchain technology can improve transparency and liability within the Islamic fields.
