This study aims to uncover the visual culture regarding the afterlife shown in the Thai web series. The web series analyzed in this study is He’s Coming to Me from Thailand. Researchers used the theory of hyperreality from Baudrillard to dismantle the simulation of social reality built by the web series through the interweaving of signs. For this reason, this study uses Roland Barthes semiotic analysis with three elements of analysis, namely denotation, connotation and myth. This study found that life after death is something that is real and recognized by society. But this study also discovered a hyperreality of life after death. If people generally believe that life after death is a phase for a person to experience reincarnation to make up for his mistakes, this web series finds something different. Life after death is a phase for the wandering spirit to seek justice regarding the negative actions he experienced in his previous life. The spirit will not be able to experience reincarnation, until his Justice has been obtained. The Web series is a vehicle that reinforces the simulation of a reality that is built on a reality that is blurred in meaning.
