The Role of Green Human Resources in Reducing Work Stress at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company

The paper is aiming to explore the relationship between the involvement of green human resource management in mitigating work-related stresses and associated consequences, which have been tied to job effectiveness and the company's competitive edge in global markets. The company under investigation implements green human resource strategies and policies. This study seeks to assess the varying attitudes of employees towards the adoption of green human resource management practices based on their demographic traits. To accomplish this study, a survey was conducted to gather primary data from a random sample of 116 employees at Air Liquide, recognized as a “Green Company” in Bahrain. A quantitative approach, data were gathered for 116 employees in the company. A Survey was conducted to examine the relationship between the variables; Independent variable Green Human Resource Management GHRM, Dependent Variable Work Stress (WS). The SPSS program was adopted to explore the relationship between the variables in this paper. The findings of the field study revealed that the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company—Air Liquide significantly embraces green human resource management approaches. Furthermore, the results highlight a substantial statistical influence of green human resources in alleviating work-related pressures and their associated impacts on employees at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company/Air Liquide. This suggests that green human resources contribute to reducing work pressures and their effects on employees at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company/Air Liquide, leading to the acceptance of the study hypothesis. Additionally, the outcomes indicated that employees at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company/Air Liquide perceive a link between the role of green human resources and social responsibility. This was succeeded by acknowledging the role of human resource management in aiding environmental preservation through practices and policies. There was a statistically significant inverse and functional relationship between green human resources and work pressures, as well as their related consequences on employees at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company/Air Liquide in Bahrain. This suggests that a heightened emphasis on green human resources at the Middle East Carbon Dioxide Company/Air Liquide results in decreased levels of work pressures and their effects on employees within the organization.
