The Impact of Participative Leadership on Improving Job Performance. A Case Study: Employees of the Khaleeji Commercial Bank

The study investigates the impact of participatory leadership on enhancing job performance at Khaleeji Commercial Bank, focusing on decision-making, authority delegation, and human relations. Using a quantitative approach, regression analysis was applied to data from 93 employees. The results showed statistically significant relationships between leadership practices and performance. Decision-making had a moderate positive influence (R2 = 0.416, β = 0.465), while authority delegation had the most substantial effect (R2 = 0.451, β = 0.501). Human relations strongly influenced performance (R2 = 0.455, β = 0.505). Overall, the study concluded that participatory leadership, particularly delegation and strong human connections, significantly improves employee performance. Researchers recommend adopting participatory leadership to enhance involvement and productivity in organizations.
