The main aim behind the current research paper is to examine the role of employee involvement in organizational change. To fulfill the research objective, a number of classic and recent research papers were used to develop the literature review and theoretical framework. The study focused on “employee involvement” as independent variable including information sharing, empowering in decision making and participating in goal setting, and “organizational change” as the dependent variable which includes testing the organizational cynicism. The findings of the research found the significant role of employee involvement when planning organizational change and highlighted the importance of each sub independent variable. It was also found that employee involvement can result in reducing organizational change cynicism (OCC).
