This chapter focuses, on the one hand, on the complex and problematic theme of globalization and, on the other, on the internationalization of social work based on a theoretical and scientific analysis, anchored in a decades-long practice that began in Brazil and was later expanded to Italy and then to the world. Furthermore, it presents a proposal, at once optimistic and realistic, for overcoming the challenges that have emerged in recent decades due to the evident interference of neoliberal doctrines in the environments where social work is practiced and theorized. Furthermore, it is structured around the figure of Alice Salomon, founding mother of the IASSW-AIETS, who inspired the internationalization process aimed at unifying social workers around the world to eradicate poverty worldwide.

摘要
