The automotive industry in Morocco faces intense competition, and companies are under pressure to reduce costs and improve productivity. Effective inventory management is crucial in this context, as it directly impacts customer satisfaction, logistics costs, and overall competitiveness. In this study, we address the problem of stock level inaccuracy in automotive industry in Morocco. We identify the causes that could be at the root of the problem, and propose the implementation of RFID technology system in order to obtain real-time stock level visibility and avoid stock level inaccuracies. Several key causes of stock level inaccuracy were identified such as: mismatches between Entreprise Ressource Planning (ERP) data and Bill of Material (BOM), human errors, and incorrect parameters. The implementation of RFID shows how to eliminate these issues and improve stock level accuracy.
