摘要

This is a systematic review that examines the significant role played by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reducing CO2 emissions in road logistics. By reviewing current research and practical examples, this review demonstrates the capabilities of AI, such as predictive analytics, optimized route selection, and intelligent fleet management, in enhancing environmental sustainability. It also outlines some of the limitations and challenges associated with widespread AI adoption, considering future research perspectives that could enable better integration of AI solutions for sustainable logistics. The study concludes that AI can greatly contribute to reducing the carbon footprint in road logistics through efficient and environmentally-friendly transportation practices.
