Since the authorization of crowdfunding by Moroccan financial authorities, this financing model has opened new doors for innovation and economic growth. This change has been amplified by the widespread internet access and the extensive use of smartphones, creating a favorable environment for the rise of online crowdfunding. Crowdfunding platforms in Morocco have thrived, providing a new avenue for financing a variety of projects, including entrepreneurial, cultural and social initiatives. This transformation of the financial landscape is marked by the increasing interconnection between the technological sector and the financing sector, redefining how projects are supported and fostering entrepreneurship. The aim of our study is to shed light on the role of crowdfunding in contributing to sustainable development policies. To this end, we propose to begin by elucidating the concept of crowdfunding, its various typologies, and the concept of sustainable development. Secondly, we will conduct a literature review by selecting various studies, following that, we will highlight the current state of crowdfunding in Morocco.
