The Maamora forest is a vast expanse of lowland forest known for its biodiversity of flora and fauna. Following changes in weather conditions marked by lower precipitation and longer summers, the floristic composition has been influenced by the appearance or disappearance of certain plant species, even reaching the rank of genus or family. The interest of this study is to compare current floristic richness with previous studies, by listing the species that have appeared and specifying their biological spectrum. Sampling is systematically stratified. Four cantons (strata) of the Maamora were surveyed, in which north-south transects were made. The results of this study present an exhaustive list of 57 taxa that are new to the cork oak forest, belonging to 51 genera and 28 families. Ecologically, all these taxa occupy sandy-clay soils in bioclimates ranging from sub-humid to semi-arid, depending on continental conditions. The biological spectrum is dominated by therophytes (66.66%). Almost all these species are spontaneous. The appearance of some species shows how climate change can upset the balance of the ecosystem and lead to the therophytization of the forest.
