As with most empirical studies, the models described in this book have limitations pertaining to practical application. Suggestions are provided that could be used to engage employees to display positive behaviors with respect to achieving environmental goals. Two studies in this regard are mentioned as applying human resource concepts to environmental goals in civilian industries and other developing countries. The first study uses a sample from banks in Sumatra, while the second study uses a sample from businesses in Oman.
