The chapter commences with a description of the four models tested in empirical studies. Data collection methods and analysis of empirical studies are described. Data was collected using questionnaires, by a team of research staff, who visited military offices and engaged in an exhaustive question-and-answer session to explain questionnaires in English in the local language. Scales were developed by the authors of the book for both the explanatory and outcome measures. Scale development was undertaken by the authors in preference to standardized instruments, to facilitate comprehension by the respondents. This is followed by the specification of structural equations modeling using the PLS-SEM software.
