Prenatal and Postnatal Imaging of the Bladder Epispadias-Exstrophy Complex
摘要
Diagnostic imaging plays an essential role in the assessment of the epispadias-exstrophy complex. The focus of prenatal imaging is establishing an accurate diagnosis to counsel the expectant parents and prepare for postnatal management, whereas the goals of postnatal imaging are confirming and/or refining the prenatal diagnosis and assessing the postoperative state. In this chapter we review the prenatal ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging findings observed across the epispadias-exstrophy complex spectrum and discuss the role of postnatal imaging, including expected post-surgical findings and postoperative complications.
