Female patients with classic bladder exstrophy (CBE) have unique gynecologic and obstetric needs. These include initial and ongoing assessment of gynecologic anatomy, puberty, sexual function, pelvic organ prolapse, contraception, fertility, and obstetric care. This chapter seeks to review the literature supporting common recommendations and outline potential evaluations that may be needed in patients with BE.
