At first glance, spirituality, natural lawNatural law, and ecology are unrelated phenomena. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that the finite nature of natural resources constrains economic growth. The paper starts from the assumption that it is possible to saturate capitalist management with spiritualism and that a non-state-based legal regulation of the use of capital may show a sensitivity to the treatment of nature as a legal subject. Spirituality acts from within and in the acting person, and suitable legal influence has an effect from the outside to influence behavior in the capitalist economy. Spiritualism and non-statist legal regulation are intertwined in our age, the Anthropocene, when one must act in the awareness of a global ecological crisis. To see and understand the interconnectedness between spirituality-infused capitalism, natural law, and ecology, one needs to consider the concepts of spirituality, economic, social, and spiritual capital, non-state law, and ecological reality separately. The challenge is to piece together each component to reveal their deeper connections. In addressing the topic, this paper seeks to broaden the boundaries of economic and legal thinking. At the same time, the concepts of economics, law, and ecology can cross-fertilize each other.
