As part of the course offerings of the Munich University of Applied Sciences in the field of business administration, a research project has been conducted since 2021 within the framework of a scientific practical seminar on the topic of “Predictive Intelligence” under the direction of Prof. Dr. Uwe Seebacher. In the summer semester of 2021, a project was carried out in this context with an internationally active chamber of commerce and industry. The organization, referred to as the Chamber for International Business Development (CIBD) in the context of this article, aimed to design and subsequently implement a Business Intelligence portal for early detection of export opportunities in various sectors or divisions—referred to as sub-verticals. This initiative was part of the expansion of the advisory and service offerings for the member companies of the CIBD organization. This case study describes how the research team proceeded to successfully realize a Minimum Value Product (MVP) in the form of an interactive dashboard to demonstrate the feasibility of the idea to the customer within just 10 months based on the Template-based Management (TBM) method according to Seebacher (Seebacher, 2020) and the Predictive Intelligence approach according to Seebacher (2021). In addition to the organization, implementation, and the dashboard, this case study also focuses on the unique selling points of the overall solution approach as well as the required IT blueprint and the future diverse (application) potentials.

摘要
