摘要
The composition of Cr-spinel is a complex function of magma composition, the degree of mantle melting, crystallization temperature, cooling rate, oxygen fugacity (fO2), and pressure, as elaborated in the review by Roeder (Can Mineral 32:729–746, 1994). However, melt composition and cooling rate played a major role in chromite composition, as inferred by Kamentsky et al. (J Petrol 42:655–671, 2001), who analyzed 2500 olivine–Cr-spinel pairs and 440 melt inclusions from lavas of diverse tectonic settings.
