Cobot Technology for Emergencies Approach
摘要
The island approach is a new theory elaborated within the doctoral activities at the UTC-N. The boundaries permeability levels define the frame in which a considered system may be analyzed at a certain degree of isolation to identify the needs and their priority and the capacity to attract from outside necessary resources in case of emergencies. The engineering and management methodology was considered due to the fact that in case of emergency in an insular condition not only the fire fighters or the special forces intervene, but also medical staff, volunteers, casualty searchers, monitoring, logistics, ONG’s, families’ members and government bodies representatives may be present, helping or disturbing the intervention process. In many situations robotized solutions are used to compensate for what people cannot do or are not in sufficient number. But generally, there are solutions based on self-standing and not cooperative actions. Therefore, the paper considers the introduction or extension of the Cobots applicability as suitable solutions that benefit from the I5.0 industrial revolution that captured already the attention in many research laboratories.
