This study examines the impact of blended learning on developing digital literacy among pre-service Philology teachers at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. A case study involving 47 students and focus group interviews with 12 participants revealed that blended learning significantly enhanced digital competencies across seven key areas and 23 components. The research highlights the importance of cultivating digital literacy in pre-service Philology teachers to prepare them for future teaching careers. Blended learning emerged as an effective method, seamlessly integrating technology into the curriculum and equipping students with essential digital skills. This study contributes to the broader conversation on the role of blended learning in teacher education, ultimately helping future educators confidently navigate the digital world.
