We are experiencing a tremendous transition in the modern educational prospect. The advent of information technologies in individual lives coupled with AI and machine learning being advanced tools of data management have attracted different types of enterprises to the sector of education. The current research glazed through Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) which are specifically recognized as focal locations for implementing AI and ML technologies to deliver this transformational shift. Saudi Arabia's story is a case study of a nation undergoing a high level of technical transition. The Kingdom is moving through a digital transformation beyond economic fields and is positioned at the forefront. It has promised to “change the way of life” and use technology as a catalyst for it. The research examines the AI and ML evolution in the learning space of Saudi Arabia, bringing the focus towards possible gains as well as certain troubles associated with data-driven pedagogy application. This research is a part of the broader conversation about the role of machine learning in educational quality by gathering evidence from different educational contexts and using the specific situation of Saudi Arabia as a reference.
