This final chapter briefly addresses the frontier of laser-plasma interactions at intensities beyond the current limit. Two laser-plasma schemes based on the moving mirror concept for ultra-tight focusing in space and time of laser pulses are presented. Then, the use of extreme intensities to investigate the strong-field regime of quantum electrodynamics is discussed.
