Google Interland game is designed to teach students about internet safety and digital citizenship in a fun and interactive way. Players navigate through various levels, each focusing on different aspects of online safety such as avoiding phishing scams, protecting personal information, and being kind to others online. Google Interland seems to be a great resource for parents and educators looking to teach children about responsible internet use. It effectively combines game-based learning principles with educational content to empower players with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. This paper tries to contribute to a better understanding of the game-based learning principles included in Google Interland with aim to strengthen students with the necessary skills and knowledge about internet safety and digital citizenship. Also, an algorithmic analysis of Google Interland is presented inside the paper, which involves examining the underlying computational processes that drive the game’s mechanics, decision-making logic, and player interactions.
