The Effect of Skill and Physical Exercises Using Smart Virtual Reality for Volleyball Players

The paper is to prepare physical-skill exercises using virtual reality for volleyball players and identifying the effect of physical-skill exercises using virtual reality on some physical abilities and the skills of spiking and blocking for volleyball players, identifying the differences between the control and experimental groups in some physical abilities and the skills of spiking and blocking. The experimental method was used with a design of two equivalent groups with pre- and post-tests and on a sample of young volleyball players from the specialized school, numbering (14) players. After ensuring the homogeneity of the research community in the variables (height, weight and chronological age). Then, equivalence was conducted in the pre-test for the purpose of starting from one starting point. The experimental group trained using physical skill exercises using virtual reality, while the control group trained using exercises prepared by the trainer. After completing the application of the training curriculum and conducting the post-test, and after presenting and analyzing the results, the researchers concluded that the exercises prepared using virtual reality have a positive effect in developing some physical abilities and the skills of spiking and blocking. Training using virtual reality provides excitement and suspense for volleyball players and moves away from everything familiar in the training process. Therefore, the researchers recommend adopting training using virtual reality for volleyball players. Using smart virtual reality training for other games and activities and identifying their effects.
