Protection for Sensitive Images on Mobile Devices Using AES Encryption and Key Derivation Function
摘要
In today’s digital landscape, mobile devices are increasingly targeted for unauthorized access to personal data, posing significant threats to user privacy. Protecting sensitive information, especially user photos, on compromised devices is a critical security challenge. This research presents a robust security mechanism leveraging dynamic key-changing encryption to safeguard user images on mobile devices. By implementing frequent, unpredictable key rotations, the system limits the risk of illicit access, even if the device is breached. The developed approach was tested against simulated attack scenarios, demonstrating a 30% increase in resistance to unauthorized decryption attempts compared to traditional static encryption methods. These results suggest that dynamic key-changing offers an effective, resilient solution for enhancing data privacy in the face of evolving cyber threats, maintaining protection even in compromised environments.
