Changes of Meteorological Conditions in the North-West Part of the Krasnodar Region: A Case of the Starominsky District
摘要
Climate change is considered by many countries as one of the most significant global challenges of this century and a serious threat to sustainable development. This paper analyzes the changes in temperature and precipitation patterns in Starominskaya village from 1960 to 2020. The obtained time series was analyzed using methods of mathematical statistics and supplemented with linear trends that characterize the trend of the values under consideration. The station has a continuous record of verified meteorological data, and trends in temperature and precipitation were identified. There has been an increase in average temperature of 1.1 ℃. The amount of precipitation has varied slightly, but there has been no significant change in precipitation pattern, except for a decrease during the period 2005–2014. The lowest amount of precipitation occurred in 2007 (326 mm) and the highest in 2004 (744 mm).
