In the context of brain-computer interface (BCI) systems, capturing a substantial number of channel signals and sending them to an external unit is necessary. Receiving commands and configuration bits is also essential for a base station or an external unit. Various wireless data communication methods are proposed that can be categorized into two groups. One uses wireless power transfer parameters for data communication on the same magnetic wave which is suitable for remotely powered systems. The alternative option is to design separate transceivers and coils on the implant and external unit only for data communication.

摘要

In the context of brain-computer interface (BCI) systems, capturing a substantial number of channel signals and sending them to an external unit is necessary. Receiving commands and configuration bits is also essential for a base station or an external unit. Various wireless data communication methods are proposed that can be categorized into two groups. One uses wireless power transfer parameters for data communication on the same magnetic wave which is suitable for remotely powered systems. The alternative option is to design separate transceivers and coils on the implant and external unit only for data communication.
