Based on a case report format, this chapter aimed to (a) offer a qualitative characterization of a clinical case focusing on the approach to depressive symptoms and their interaction with personality variables and (b) analyze the evolution of the case considering the perspective of the patient, the therapist, and external evaluators. To these ends, different significant aspects of the case were selected, constructing a series of clinical vignettes that show the treatment’s format and phases and examples of interventions. This selection was made by the treating therapist and a member of the clinical institution, both co-authors of this chapter. Additionally, the clinical evaluation of the treating therapist, the material from the follow-up interview conducted with the patient, and the summary of this interview carried out by the interviewing professional were also incorporated for analysis. All this clinical information was then qualitatively analyzed and included in the discussion of this chapter, showing convergences and divergences between the different perspectives (patient, therapist, and follow-up evaluator) and a possible construction of the factors of success of the treatment.

摘要
