An overview of the application of nanobiotechnology in drug delivery is provided in this chapter. There are numerous varieties of nanoparticles. Due to better absorption, nanoparticulate versions of commonly used medications are more effective than traditional formulations and require lower dosages with fewer side effects. Targeted drug delivery of anticancer medications is made easier by nanobiotechnology. In order to deliver drugs to specific organs, nanoparticles also let drugs pass through biological barriers in the human body. For instance, drugs are able to enter the brain through the blood-brain barrier. Applications of nanobiotechnology in biological therapy delivery are growing, including treatment of cancer, oscular disease, Heart diseases, Respiratory diseases, Dermatology treatment, Neurological disorder, Dentistry treatment and also Gastroenterology diseases. Some nanoparticles have the capacity to contain many therapeutic molecules, allowing for the use of multimodal therapy in conjunction with physical modalities like radiation therapy for cancer patients. The application of nanotechnology to the development of intelligent medication release devices is one of the other predicted advances in this field.

摘要
