Due to differences in model structure and principles, different models have varying effects when applied to actual basins. This paper analyzes and compares the application effects of the Xin’anjiang Model and the Wetspa Model in the Hanjiang Shiquan Basin. It proposes a method combining the two models for inflow forecasting. Data from 2009 to 2015, including rainfall runoff data and DEM, land use, and soil data with 1000 × 1000 m resolution, were collected. The models were calibrated using data from 2009 to 2012 and validated with data from 2013 to 2015. Five indicators were used to evaluate the simulation results: relative flow error (CR1), model reliability (CR2), determination coefficient (CR3), Nash-Sutcliffe logarithmic coefficient (CR4), and improved Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient (CR5). The results show that the combined model yields better simulation results.
