The paper first introduces the construction technology of dry-hanging stone curtain walls, to make readers understand such technology. Then, an engineering case is introduced to conduct in-depth research on the construction of dry-hanging stone curtain walls on the facade of a residential project. To reduce costs and increase efficiency, several design optimization ideas are proposed. For example, aiming at the overall effect of the facade, a series of optimization measures are adopted, such as changing the stone in some areas to real stone paint, piecing multiple stones together for installation, cutting and processing an entire stone, replacing stone lines with EPS boards, and rearranging stone joints to reduce the size of the stone, which not only achieves profitability for the project but also accelerates the construction progress.
