Introduction
摘要
In this introduction to Diversity and Decolonization in Teaching Russian Studies, the co-editors of the volume describe the approach, rationales, and deliverables in the present volume. They offer insight into features and flaws of the practice and profession of teaching Russian in the United States and how the volume’s contents address them. The co-editors also highlight themes and topics to which more attention could have been directed. Accordingly, they describe implications of the present volume and future pathways to unite education about the Russian-speaking world with multicultural educational philosophies and pedagogies.
