Signcryption is a cryptographic method that combines encryption and digital signature techniques to ensure both confidentiality and origin authentication for transmitted messages. Nevertheless, there is a lack of published literature on the topic of signcryption for several documents. In this paper, we propose a multi-document signcryption scheme using the RSA cryptosystem, Merkle hash trees, and AES block cipher. This research aims to present a signcryption method that offers robust security, efficient performance, and the capability to handle several documents simultaneously. The proposed scheme utilizes a multi-document signature algorithm based on Merkle hash trees. We conduct an analysis of the security and computational cost associated with the proposed scheme, and subsequently make conclusions regarding its potential for applicability.
