E-Service Quality as a Predictor of Confirmed Expectations in Jordan’s General Ifta’ Department
摘要
The study aimed to explore the impact of electronic service quality (reliability, assurance, empathy, and responsiveness) on perceived expectations within the General Ifta’ Department in Jordan. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach through a comprehensive survey strategy by distributing 187 questionnaires among the entire population of the Ifta’ Department. Out of which 97 questionnaires were retrieved and distributed across all members of the study population. The SPSS statistical package was used to analyze the data and produce the results. The study concluded that the level of impact of electronic service quality provided by the General Ifta’ Department was high, necessitating that the department maintain and constantly monitor the provided level of service. There was found to be a synergy among the dimensions of electronic service quality as they are interconnected and together form a unit that is fundamental in achieving sustainable competitive advantage, thus making the department a strong competitor amongst other departments. The study recommended the need to further develop the department’s website by those responsible for it, to align with beneficiaries’ needs, continuously update data, and add new electronic channels to maintain current beneficiaries and attract new ones without hesitation to engage with those sites.
